Punch Box! Is the debut playground of the multi-talent studio, Dichotomy. I was brought on as Art Director to build upon a proof of concept where players could interact with destructable environments.
This game is currently still in development.

As a game that featured mini-games, there were limits as to the amount of narrative world building that could be added without adding too much visual distraction or misdirecting players.
Leaning into this, I used location and minimal visual cues to convey mystery as a solution. Placing the whole map high into the sky made the purpose of the game clear: choose a path, and get to the end as quick as possible by choosing the right door.
With this choice, any additional symbols or assets such as the door lock, or wall buttons, would stand out and provide some minor storytelling for the map to exist in.
